Downloading Facebook live and re-purposing as a Youtube video is probably one of the more common tasks we manage for our clients at Today I want to give you a very simple guide to do it yourself!
Step 1: Go to the livestream video on your page/timeline.
Step 2: Begin Playing the video .
Step 3 :Pause the Video
Step 4: Right click and save the URL
Step 5: Paste the URL in a new browser
Step 6: Edit the url, but changing www to m, hit enter to refresh page. It is now a mobile page.
Step 7: Play the video the video within the mobile browser
Step 8: Pause the video and right click
Step 9 Save as video, and save to your computer
Done! Now you will have an MP4 of your Facebook live video saved. This can now be repurposed and uploaded to youtube or saved on your computer for future use.
