I Fell in Love and I want to Celebrate it with You

It was a cold winter day when we met. We locked eyes, and I knew at that very moment this love was going to last. 

We exchanged words, we shared photos, we met so many new people. 
It just felt like home. 

I wanted to learn everything about my love, so we spent a lot of time together, I asked a lot of questions, we even tried ALOT of new things - but those are secrets to share for another day.

5 Reasons to Know if You are Ready to Hire a Virtual Assistant

You have been toying with the idea of getting help, but where do you begin? As you sit back and look at your calendar, you have run out of space to add reminders. (Ok not the best example, I know, that space is REALLY SMALL) .... 

You have a sticky note somewhere with today's to do list, you have lipstick scribbled on the mirror so you do not forget to feed the dog (poor Waldo!) 

You are feeling overwhelmed, have lost control, and time is just flying as you manage the backend of your business. As a matter of fact, you have spent so much time on your day to day work that there is very little time to connect to your passion and the reason you started your business.

Working with my clients, gives me an opportunity to really understand them and build a relationship. No quickies here! 

Since I began offering Virtual Assistant Support in conjunction with my Coaching and Strategy Session, the number one thing I have discovered is that when there is SO much to do, it is overwhelming to determine where to behind when you want to hire a virtual assistant. 

I believe strongly on starting with the foundation. If we can get your backend automated, organized and in order then we can start to build and grow. I believe in planning for the best. If we implement a marketing strategy that takes off, are you really prepared to handle in when the clients come pouring in? 

Here are some of the most common areas that we begin.

1. Inbox Overload - At one time you suffered from Shiny Object Syndrome, it was an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows followed by burnout. You grabbed everything you could get your hands on, registered for freebies, signed up for courses, you know how the story goes...

The result. You now have 7.5 MILLION unread messages, no folders, and missed the offer to guest star on Oprah because it went to SPAM! You do realize that was your opportunity of a lifetime, because you were going to be a co-star with Tony Robbins and Ellen Degeneres. But, that is in the past now so let's not dwell there.

Goodness Gracious - You need help!!

So what would have happened if you had a virtual assistant on your team? Well first of all, we would restrain you from subscribing to anything ever again. (Don't worry it is only $3 pink furry handcuffs- I am sure you will break out eventually) And while you are on lockdown, your virtual assistant will clean up that inbox!

Imagine Oprah wants to interview you SO bad that she gives you a SECOND CHANCE and you do not miss this one! 

2. Social Media Madness Your intention was to get your message out there. You sat down Sunday night, planned out your content for the week (kudos this has been on your to do list for 4 years). 

It is now THURSDAY and you have not posted ANYTHING, ok lies- you posted a super cute cat photo when he was snuggled in a jar that was only 4 inches wide. You meant to post on your Social Media Platforms, you really did you just forgot. I mean it happens right? Sure if you only missed this week, because you were distracted by the new pj's you bought your cat and the other 51 weeks of the year you nailed it - then you are in good shape. 

The reality is you forget more often than not, Your Social Media and Online Presence has been neglected for some time now. It does not make you a bad person, you simply only have so much time in a day. 

Now, what would that look like if you had a Virtual Assistant? You will see consistency, brand recognition, growth and even better CLIENTS! It is no secret, if you put yourself out there, clients will come! 

3. You insist on doing it ALL and learning yourself - I commend you for your passion to learn and dedication to complete it all, but the reality is more than likely even after you take that 8 week class to learn custom coding so that your website hosted on Wix can light up like Times Square on New Years Eve, what they did not tell you in the beginning of the class was this was a Wordpress class and you do not even know how to install a theme on a wordpress site so you are stuck with your non-flashing black and white Wix website that is lost in cyberspace because it has not been optimized for Google. 

What would have happened if you hired a Virtual Assistant? Well first of all, we would have talked you out of the website that flashes like New Years Eve in Times Square, simply because your viewers would go blind but also it would probably slow down how long it takes for your page to load.

I do not know about you, but I am from New York and if your page has not loaded in 5 seconds, I am outta here! In 5 seconds a New Yorker can speed read the newspaper, while drinking coffee and driving. (shh that was another secret) Your assistant would also recommend moving over to Wordpress and optimize your site because keywords and SEO optimization drives traffic, not a site lit up like Times Square. 

The benefit of having a team of experts is so that you do not have to figure it out, you have time to appear on the Oprah show, you can focus on your clients and your assistant gets to do what they love! 

4. You decided it was time to run with the big dogs and run Facebook Ads YOURSELF - It was a rainy Friday night, your date stood you up, maybe you had an extra glass of wine so you were feeling overly courageous and had nothing else to do, other than post more cat pics on Facebook which distracted you from the week of social media you had planned for your business. So you said. 

What the heck - LET'S GIVE FACEBOOK ADS A TRY

You spent 4 hours trying to figure out what a pixel was. (And still are not sure) 
You crafted 4 genius images for your ads that talked all about your upcoming retreat for $10,000 that lead to your sales page to pay in full. (with a small discount of course) 
Your copy was great, so you thought. You talked about all of the pain points of your clients, (Because that was what you were taught on youtube two years ago when you had the flu)

What happens next? 

Your ad is declined, you do not know why so you keep resubmitting it. Until the Facebook Genie gets so angry that you did not read the TOS, that he stops you from ever hitting enter again and suspends your account INDEFINITELY. Great, now how are you going to run ads? 

If you hire a virtual assistant that specializes in Facebook Ads, they would know NOT to put your entire program on that tiny little image because not only can people not read it, but it violates Facebook Ads TOS, and would follow the 20% text rule.

They would also talk about the benefits your clients will get based on the service provided, and not talk in a negative way as Facebook TOS likes to keep the world a happy place. 

Your virtual assistant would NEVER let you run an ad to a retreat that cost $10,000 without having a warm audience first. The warm audience could be your email list, (yes we can target your email list on a Facebook ad) or consumers that have visited your site previously because of the Pixel on a prior ad for a freebie for example. Your Virtual Assistant more than likely, would be assisting you in creating an email funnel and optin to nurture your new client and build the Know, Like, and Trust factor prior to introducing your $10,000 retreat. (Unless of course you are Oprah, and she does not really need an introduction)

Lastly your Virtual Assistant would have installed a pixel on your website to track conversions. A Facebook Pixel is like having a relationship rather than a one night stand, for those who do not use Pixels for their ads.  A pixel allows you to retarget that consumer, and see them again, unlike the ads without a pixel. Those consumers you will never see again, and you can go ahead and do the walk of shame afterwards. 

5. You have written (key word written) 10 Programs and Sold Zero Your plan was to sell the program it really was. You wrote the entire program out on your desktop, several of them as a matter of fact. They are ready (sitting on a Microsoft doc on your desktop) You know if it is on your desktop that means you will remember to create the membership site right? 

The problem is that because you have 7 Million emails sitting in your inbox and missed the opportunity to go on Oprah you decided to go have a glass of wine and had the courage to run the Facebook ad. Now you missed out on your Oprah appearance, your Facebook Ad account is disabled indefinitely, your website is not sparking like Time Square,  and you have been lost in a time machine of cat photos on Facebook for several weeks now.  . . . 

Your intention was there to publish a membership site, but you did not know how and after the New years Eve fiasco on your website you gave up. So your amazing program you worked so hard on is just sitting on your desktop staring in your face day in, day out. You are tempted to file it away, but no then you would potentially never do it.
So it remains, on your desktop.
Unpublished. 

If you hire a virtual assistant, what would happen? You would pass over your content to your assistant, give them a timeline (not tomorrow, let's be fair now) and they will publish it on the membership site of your choice.

What if you do not know what membership platform to use? Not a problem, you are working with an expert! They will guide you in the right direction, after all they have problem worked on most of them.

Our Story.. and the Birth of Virtual Empowerment

Being alone in your business can be scary and downright overwhelming. 
It can feel like your mind is just in a constant spin of ideas, but no execution. 

I spent several years trying to get my business off the ground because I thought I had to do it all alone. When I finally let go, and stopped wasting my energy doing the things I did not like, I watched the flow begin. 

When I was doing it alone, I literally was throwing shit on a wall to see what would work. 
I suffered from shiny object syndrome, and enrolled in every class I could get my hands on (making more work for myself) 

So picture this... Working full time, building my coaching practice, taking every possible DIY class I could get my hands on, trying everything but not really mastering any of it ..
