It is important that when you are speaking with your client, that you speak in a way that they understand you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Avoid using jargon that may confuse them, trust me you are not impressing them with big words! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. It is not only important to speak to them in a way that they understand, but at a pace that is familiar to them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can determine your client or potential client's pace, but letting them take the lead and listening to the tone and energy of their voice. This technique is called mirroring.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you can speak in familiar words, and connect to their energy, it takes their guard down and makes them feel comfortable. Even more important, they will not walk away from the call feeling drained or confused.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
