How much time are you TRULY investing in your business?

So many times I see this with clients. They are upset that their business is not growing but they do not want to invest the time.

They are just starting out and spending a handful of hours per week on their business, but then they are upset that their business is not growing.
It is important to give your business the dedication it deserves,
Don't give up on your business before it really has started!

These are a few things I recommend to create a flow and dedication, especially when getting started.

1. Set a schedule. Close off your calendar and avoid interruptions. If you were at an office job, do you think your boss would be happy that you just took off for no reason to have tea in the park? Discipline yourself to stay committed to this schedule.

2. Map out your week (I like to do this on Sunday's) This keeps me on track, and I get to feel
accomplished at the end of the day when I look back at my to-do list. If planning a week  ahead is too much for you as you are getting started, map out the next day each night. For me personally, it feels like too much work but it has to be what works for YOU.

3. Find a place to go that gets you motivated. What works for one person will not work for the next. Are you more focused in a coffee shop because you like the energy of people around you or do you need solitude to focus.

4. Then at the end of the week look back, notice what worked, what didn't and acknowledge what you accomplished!
